The girls worked really hard this summer reading books for the Summer Reading Program at the library. Their reward for this was to go golfing. They were so excited for this and just couldn't wait to go!! Madie and Aly both did really well. Bradley was so funny! He just carried his ball around and whenever anyone hit their ball, he would run and go pick it up for them. He was worried that we might lose our balls! He is such a funny boy!

Pioneer Day Celebration!
Chicago
We took a train ride to Chicago!! The kids loved it! We made the long walk to the American Girl Store. It was insane!!! There were so many people in this store buying dolls and taking them to the Doll Hair Salon to get their hair done. You can even buy a matching outfit for yourself and your doll!! We had a nice picnic in the park and then took a couple of trolleys to the Navy Pier where we went to the Children's Museum. The kids had a blast and were very tired by the end of the day!
Our Trip to Illinois
Me and the kids took a drive to visit my sister Tanya in Bourbonnais, Illinios. Nathan had to work, so I decided I would make the drive on my own. It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. It took me about 8 hours to get there and about 9 hours to get home. We had to make a few more stops on the way home!! We stayed for a week and had a great time!

Bradley's Bump
So yesterday, Bradley and Jaxon took off running down the hallway. Nathan and I heard the smack of the wall and heard both of them crying. But it was Bradley who hit the wall. I think Jaxon was just crying because Bradley was. It was pretty bad! Poor Boy!! He already had a black eye from two days before. Aly was pushing him in the stroller and tipped him over and he hit his head on the road! He's a tough Boy!!
4th of July
For the 4th of July, we took the kids over to Providence where they had a little festival. We let them play on a few of the blow-up toys. Then we were invited over to our friends the Turner's house for a Bar-B-Q. We had such a good time. All of the kids had so much fun playing. There were 8 girls and just Bradley! Poor little Boy!!! But he still had a good time. We lit off our own fireworks in the street and watched all the other neighbors light off theirs. It really was cool! Since fireworks aren't illegal here, everyone is lighting them off. So you don't even really need to go to a show! We hope that everyone else had a great 4th of July as well!
Hello Everyone! I have decided to switch to this blog instead of my other one. It seems that everyone is using BlogSpot these days and it just seems easier. So, to all my family and friends, please get on and check out this every week so you can see what the Ball Family is up to.
My friend Sandy helped me to set this up. She is so crafty and has made this cute page for me! Thanks, Sandy!!!
